Check that out, it's a samsung d415. I've been waiting all week for it to arrive and it just it here. This is the story. I got it in the mail and happily tore through the packaging. I grab a charges then plug it in. I sit there and stare at for a minute or so. Nothing. No light, no blinking, no signs of life. So i decide to take it apart. Upon doing so, i'm met with a grotesque sight. The mainboard of the phone appeared to be moderately corroded. I run down to the local cvs and purchase a bottle of isopropyl alcohol. With a toothbrush dipped in the solution, i carefully scrub at the phone's mainboard hoping that there might still have a chance. Using a hairdryer, i dry any remaining alcohol from the phone's board. I snap the case back together and replace the screws. The moment of truth... I plug it into the charger. At first, nothing, but suddenly th keypad lights up! I jump up happily only to have my momentary elation quashed when the lights go out. I quickly remove the charger and reconnect it once again. No dice. It seems that the phone is dead. :(
